Still Hurting After Weeks of Waiting It Out?
Pain, leakage, pelvic pressure, or a nagging injury can quietly steal the activities you love. Most people wait too long — or settle for generic care that never addresses the root cause. Sound familiar?
You’ve Tried to Push Through
Rest, stretching, and hoping it resolves on its own hasn’t worked. The pain — or the leaking, the pressure, the tightness — keeps coming back, and it’s starting to limit your daily life.
Generic Care Left You Without Answers
You’ve seen someone, but the sessions felt rushed, impersonal, or cookie-cutter. No one took the time to find the actual cause — and you’re not getting any closer to the results you need.
You’re Worried You’ll Never Get Back to Normal
Whether it’s hiking the trails around Asheville, running your next race, or simply making it through the day without pain or embarrassment — you’re starting to wonder if that life is still possible.

We build a customized treatment plan around your goals, lifestyle, and timeline. Using evidence-based techniques — from dry needling and manual therapy to pelvic floor internal techniques and therapeutic exercise — every session is purposeful and one-on-one with your Doctor of PT.
Step 3: Return to the Life You Love
Whether that means running trails in Asheville, returning to sport, managing pelvic floor symptoms with confidence, or simply moving through the day without pain — we don’t just get you better, we equip you to stay that way with a customized home exercise program and re-injury prevention strategies.

What Asheville Patients Are Saying
5.0 stars across 103 Google reviews — real results from real people
Dan at Breakthrough Performance is an exceptional resource for all your PT needs. Immediately upon our initial assessment he identified some old 20+ years of patterns that addressed the cause in areas I was not aware of. After several weeks, the daily workout performance videos and App helps you stay focused, and on track. His gym is well loved, and his education and background help patients reach their fitness and performance goals! Definitely a valuable resource.

I worked with Rachel Pascko on a couple issues over several months and I’ve seen dramatic improvement. She has a sophisticated understanding of biology and fitness training, she’s a fantastic teacher, and she’s just a lovely and pleasant person. I have referred family to this practice and would refer anyone else who could use a PT.
–Holly S.
Would recommend to anyone! Had ACL reconstruction + meniscus repair 1.5 yrs ago. Things were moving slower than expected, had stubborn swelling and inflammation. Completed therapy at a different facility but felt I reached a plateau. Found Breakthrough where I worked with Megan for several weeks. She was amazing, worked with me to reach goals, improve my stability / strength as well as improve my confidence. Finally made me feel hopeful again.
